Vacanțe compromise în Turcia de o vară de coșmar: Cel puțin 4 morți în zeci de incendii de vegetație

Oficialii turci susțin că marea majoritate a focarelor au fost provocate intenționat.

Vacanța pentru mii de turiști, în sudul și vestul Turciei, este departe de a le fi adus liniștea mult dorită. La Marmaris, Bodrum, Mugla, dar și la Side și Manavgat, lângă Antalya, flăcările par să fi scăpat total de sub control. Intervențiile sunt dificile, din cauza terenului accidentat din spatele hotelurilor, dar puternic împădurit, cu păduri de pini care ard ca niște torțe. Sunt de ajuns câteva scântei pentru apariția unui nou focar.

A fost o noapte de foc pentru locuitorii multor zone de pe coasta de est și de sud a Turciei. Incendiile de vegetație au afectat regiuni întregi, în ciuda eforturilor disperate ale autorităților și localnicilor de a aduce flăcările sub control.

Imagini apocaliptice au fost surprinse în Mugla, în regiunea Bodrum de la Marea Egee, unde focul a înaintat toată noaptea de pe versanți spre mal, unde sunt și zonele locuite. Peste tot, focul se apropie periculos de clădiri, iar pe drumurile de pe creastă, echipele de intervenție pot fi prinse oricând în capcana de foc, potrivit Digi24.

În unele zonele împădurite, copacii sunt carbonizați, fără pic de verde, dar în mod curios, în unele locuri, focul s-a oprit chiar lângă hoteluri și piscine, care nu au nici măcar cenușă pe ziduri și terase.

În alte locuri, din nefericire, focul a distrus totul - case, ferme, hambare, iar multe animale domestice au murit asfixiate sau arse de vii pentru că nu au fost evacuate la timp. Imagini dramatice, în care proprietarii plâng și-și strigă animalele rătăcite, impresionează până la lacrimi.
