General Prosecution Office received yesterday the report of international expertise in the death of Valeriu Boboc. Although the expert from Britain refused to sign the joint report by Moldovan lawers, the conclusion is unequivocal - the young man was killed in battle on the night of 7 to 8 April, 2009.

"Foreign and national experts determined the death was as a result of injuries caused to Valeriu Boboc and not caused by an unknown, poisoning gas, as was said immediately after the tragedy," said Prosecutor General Valeriu Zubco. Experts have found that the youth was severely beaten with fists, feet and rifle arm over all the body.

Boboc family lawyer, said Valeriu Plesca for jurnal.md, holds a copy of this report since June 2009. "After the exhumation was created a Moldovan expert commission. The expert from Great Britain has a special report and the committee formed of other three experts had another report that British expert refused to sign. I do not understand what report they received now. I suppose it's the report of the Moldovan experts sent to be signed by the expert from the UK, which was sent back. The findings of this report are known since June", the lawyer said.

According to the lawyer, Moldovan experts believed the young man died as a result of a cardiac effect after being hit in the chest, and Professor Derrick John Pound is of the opinion that any of the shots could cause his death.

The international expertise, the parents of the victim insisted, found that Valeriu Boboc was killed in battle and was not intoxicated with an unknown substance, as tried to present the Ministry of Internal Affaires. International expert report was presented to the authorities on June 29, 2009.
